Education Pioneers to Add 75 New Fellowships
Activate ED partner Education Pioneers is thrilled to announce they will be adding 75 new fellowship positions in Newark over the next three years, following a $224,000 grant from the Foundation for Newark’s Future, an initiative funded in part by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The Foundation and Education Pioneers will team up to match talented graduate students who have an expressed passion for education issues and a commitment to serve with nonprofits, government agencies and other education institutions.
"Newark has so much to offer young professionals and in particular those with interest in dedicating their time to education," said Greg Taylor, the Foundation’s president. "Newark families, schools and education organizations deserve top-talent and we are delighted to support Education Pioneers in strengthening that pipeline."
